Other Lives Manchester Concert reviews
Awesome concert, venue sucked
One of the better shows I've ever seen was the fantastic performance from Alice Cooper and Other Lives. His vocals were crisp and clear, and his backing band was phenomenal, particularly the blonde female guitarist. Fantastic shows from both Alice Cooper and Other Lives. Cooper put on an elaborate spectacle that would have been amazing as the headline act.
Crüe was louder longer and just as energetic but suffered from poor mixing. Tommy Lee's drum coaster alone was worth the ticket price. It was still a bombastic treat to watch the band go out in style. The sound was muddier, Vince's vocals often got lost in a wall of sheer noise.
The last time I will ever attend any event at the Biloxi colosseum. Abysmal traffic control, indifferent staff, cramped entry zones, and poorly conceived traffic flow made the experience less than it could have been. It began with horn honking frustration and ended the same way. Never again. The lone exception was a harried concession clerk who apologized for the outrageous lines and was very pleasant to deal with. The rest of the venue staff and patrons as well were awful.
